October: Events to Experience
There is always something happening while staying at The Oriana and October is a fun-packed very busy month. There is lots to see, experience and enjoy.
Throughout October, Bathers’ Pavilion is hosting a month-long Art Exhibition in their gallery on the first floor. Twilight Concerts begin again at the Rotunda with a big line up of bands including the Australian Navy Band, a Rock Band playing the latest hits and old favourites and School Bands and Dance Groups …. and this year, a new event, Outdoor Cinema in Balmoral Reserve for the family to enjoy.
This year sees the return of the popular Hunter Valley Uncorked at Balmoral on Sunday 16th October, after a break of 2 years due to COVID restrictions.
This is an opportunity to enjoy the “Good Life” sampling fine wines from Hunter Valley wineries with beautiful Balmoral Beach as the backdrop and only a stone’s throw from The Oriana!
Just image sampling some of the best Semillon in the world, while basking in the sun listening to live music by Soul Shack playing in the Rotunda. The event promises a wonderful fusion of wine, good food and company.
But if you prefer to enjoy the wonders of Nature, there is always something to delight. This photo of whales was taken by my son kayaking near the Heads over the weekend.
Alternatively, you can enjoy the beauty of Nature at its best, even while lying in bed.
