Balmoral named in Annual Tourism List in the Top 10 Beaches In Australia in 2023.

Balmoral was known as “the hidden gem” but now the secret is out!

Balmoral has been recognised in the top 10 beaches in 2023 of the 11 thousand odd Australian coastline beaches – the only beach in Sydney to make the grade!

To quote the author of the Annual Tourism Award, Brad Farmer AM,   Balmoral is Sydney’s “finest jewel….It is simply majestic and one of the world’s most beautiful city beaches.”   Fine praise indeed.

Balmoral consists of two beaches separated by Rocky Point Island. “The two beaches sweep into an east facing arc of white sand, fronting calm waters or a lazy ocean swell washing through the Heads.”

The Oriana is located directly on the beach, north of Rocky Point Island at the northern end of Balmoral on the exclusive Edward’s Beach enclave, directly facing the entrance to Sydney Harbour. It enjoys a wide sweeping panorama of beach, harbour Heads and beyond.

Rocky Point Island is joined to the foreshore walk around Balmoral Reserve by a charming little bridge.
