May and June offer a number of unique experiences while staying at The Oriana.

On the 25th May the sails on The Opera House will light up marking the start of Vivid 2018.  This will be the 10th anniversary of Sydney’s spectacular Light, cutting-edge Music and Innovation of Ideas Festival that runs until mid-June.

This is definitely not to be missed. You will be wowed!

The Light show is not confined to The Opera House sails. All around the foreshore, buildings and open spaces will come alive with changing digital sculptures, many with interactive features mesmerising the young and the young at heart.

Sydney’s Custom House, Circular Quay, will depict this year the baby gum nuts, beloved characters in May Gibb’s children’s book, “Snuggle Pot and Cuddle Pie”.

Visit also the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, The Rocks, Barangaroo and Darling Harbour, along with the city’s Kings Cross, Luna Park, Chatswood and Taronga Zoo.

There will be live bands, including some of the best Australian and International performers.

Be inspired by exploring fresh thinking across technology, design, science, culture with leading industry practitioners and masterminds who will set about to challenge conventional wisdom.
