Balmoral Carols at the Rotunda and Christmas Lights

I do love the festive season, the season of goodwill to all,  with coloured lights, Christmas trees, beautiful displays in the shops and houses and of course carols.

Mosman is certainly well into the swing with last week’s Blessing of the Council’s Nativity Crib in conjunction with the annual Christmas Twilight Markets. To the delight of everyone local school children led the singing with items and traditional carols telling the Christmas Story.

Carols at the Rotunda.

It is Balmoral’s turn this Saturday when thousands will gather around the Rotunda on their picnic blankets to enjoy and evening of carol singing. Being held at the Rotunda means that The Oriana guests have only have a very short stroll. It is an event not be missed.

Christmas Street Lights

Sunday sees the official turning on of Prince Albert Street Lights when the whole street vies each year for the prize of the best display. Not only lights but there will be groups of carol singers entertaining the crowds as they wander along, no doubt assessing as they stroll whether they agree with the judges.

These are all annual events, so why not plan to stay at The Oriana in December 2019.
