Early morning autumn treats
We are now into the second week of Autumn and the weather does not disappoint! Temperatures are still in the mid to high twenties (80s F) and the water delightfully warm for an early swim or some dawn kayaking.
The Apple Blossom Hibiscus tree which has always been a feature at the entrance to The Oriana, is a mass of flowers and the local honey eating birds certainly love it.
It is also attracting many rather bigger Balmoral visitors who stop to have their photo taken amidst the green foliage and pretty pink flowers.
We experience the occasional light shower which can be followed by magnificent rainbows, stretching across the Heads.
There is an occasional wave large enough to create drama against the rocks!
