Festival of Mosman

Not only can Mosman boast of a stunning environment with its beaches, bush reserves and panoramic vistas but next month sees the return of the ever popular Festival of Mosman, held biennially in October, this year; 18th to 27th October. It is Mosman’s biggest community celebration.

The Festival is filled with lots of activities for people of all ages and interests and is not to be missed.

Highlights this year at Balmoral include outdoor concerts, a traditional aboriginal sunset ceremony on the beach, “Hunter Valley Uncorked at Balmoral”, an electric bike try-out day on Balmoral Oval amongst many – these only a stone’s throw away from The Oriana.

Other popular favourites returning this year are outdoor silent cinema under the stars, pilates orientation workouts, art experiences, night markets and as well lots for the children – a children’s fair, pets day out and a variety of musical events.

Most events are free but fees apply to a small number of activities such as the guided “Snorkel Mosman” ($20) where participants can explore the marine life in Sydney’s magnificent harbour.
