Balmoral Beach is a hidden gem, situated on Sydney’s beautiful harbour, a favourite beach with locals and not such an obvious choice of the tourist. Balmoral Beach is actually three beaches flowing into one another and a “netted swimming baths” section enclosed by a wooden boardwalk. The beach-front esplanade overlooks the golden sand where children play and couples stroll arm in arm taking in the glorious beachside ambiance.

Balmoral is home to some of Sydney’s most awarded dining establishments, even its local fish and chip shop won an award! Balmoral’s local cafes provide the perfect backdrop to a quiet coffee or a good Australian breakfast soaking up the atmosphere after a swim in the clear blue water.

Balmoral is the start of a breathtaking walk from the elevated views of Middle Harbour to Chowder Bay and Clifton Gardens taking in some of Sydney Habour’s most celebrated landmarks with some of the best hidden photographic opportunities.

Balmoral was named after Royal Dee Side, Scotland, the favourite Scottish residence of the British Royal family.

Buses, Ferries and Water Taxis all operate between Balmoral Beach/Mosman and Sydney’s CBD.

Local transport also is easy to Taronga Zoo, Luna Park, Manly and Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Local Shopping
Mosman is Balmoral’s local shopping village providing an array of exclusive shops, from designer boutiques to local delicatessens with home-grown fresh produce and welcoming cafés and bistros.
