Winter Pleasures

There is always something to see and do while staying at The Oriana. Without the summer crowds there is still so much to enjoy.

Yesterday was the winter solstice – a beautiful bright sunny day and the water crystal clear so many were out and about enjoying swimming, walking along the beach, dining or sipping coffee over a chat.

Wattle, Australia’s floral emblem, is ablaze in the parks and reserves along the foreshore and its bright golden blooms certainly makes one feel great to be alive.

The wonderful scenery of Balmoral encourages many artists to try and capture its incredible beauty.

However, if your preference is for less energetic pleasures then why not sit, relax and watch the world go by from the comfort of The Oriana while taking in this view, sipping a nice glass of wine.
